Spring Walla Walla Wedding | Foundry Vineyards

Jennifer + Michael

There is something magical in the spring and especially in Walla Walla. Picking the perfect venue for Jenny and Mike was at the top of our list. Foundry Vineyards fit the bill with its modern art gallery vibe, sculpture garden, and HELLO the wine!

So much love, fun, and family filled the day and we feel lucky that we got to play a small role in planning +floral for this couple.

Rustic Walla Walla Wedding

Taylor + Wyatt

The best part of working with this family was seeing all the love they had for each other. Taylor and Wyatt could not be more set up for success in the upcoming years. Working with Darcie (MOB) was a dream come true. Taylor gave me design freedom when it came to her floral concepts which allowed me to sneak in a few surprises. A few of my favorite details were all the greenery we used on the tables, deer sheds and European mount collected by the groom, the brides signature Huckleberry Lemonade drink (I'm a sucker for anything Huckleberry,) and the sunset pictures that we didn't even think we were going to get from the talented Alex Lasota.

Christina + Eric

There are times in my life when I get the privilege to use my talents to design and coordinate a friends wedding. When Eric let me know he popped the question to Christina I was thrilled to be asked to take on their vision and get the ball rolling so they could have an intimate destination wedding in Walla Walla, WA. The couple resided in Virginia so we relied on FaceTime, emails, and texting to pull together this beautiful event at Basel Cellars.

Tawney + Kenny

Moore Mansion weddings are so classic! When Tawney's mom Carey asked me if I would take on a planning roll for them I couldn't wait. The bride was decisive on what was important in the day to her and what we could bypass making my job so much easier. I rarely get to design using yellow and when I saw Tawney's Pinterest board my eyes lit up. I added soft ivory and gray to the palette along with succulents for texture. I got to design an all floral monogram "H" for Henker and full centerpieces placed on steel pintuck linens for a timeless look. Details that I loved were the memory picture of Ryder and the Bride's first look with her father... both tear jerkers.

Bridget + Matt

Walla Walla, Washington is an amazing wedding destination. With its many tasting rooms, designated downtown area, and amazing scenic views this is a hot spot for nuptials.

Bridget and Matt both being raised catholic knew they wanted a formal church wedding. Saint Patrick's cathedral, downtown was the perfect backdrop. The church boasts wood pews, stained glass, and beautiful architecture. Post ceremony the couple joined their guests at Wine Valley Golf Club for their cocktail hour and reception.

Castle Event Catering served up traditional family style Italian fare of Lasagna, Chicken Parmesan, autumn roasted vegetables, and artisan breads.

As the night got chilly the fire pit was turned on and the newly installed garage doors were lowered to start the dance party. Platinum Entertainment worked with the Bride to surprise the groom with his favorite EDM music starting at 9pm where select guests tossed out festival wear and glow sticks. Why Not Pizza rolled up to the front doors of the reception to cure those late night munchies and get guests out the door on a full tummy.

Huge thank you to all the vendors that were a part of this couple's big day.

Rachelle + Zac

I always like to remind couples to infuse their personality throughout their wedding. My favorite detail was the guest names were printed tickets correlating to concerts(each table) that Rachelle and Zac had attended while dating. From the colorful macroons to the color blocked tablescapes each of the design elements were well thought out and came together beautifully to create a magical day at the Hedges Estate Winery.

My favorite review came in a few weeks after the wedding from the father of the bride, Pete Hedges.

Chandra,

Wanted to take a minute to personally thank you for the excellent job you did on Rachelle's wedding. The flowers were absolutely beautiful. I can't tell you how many complements on them I have gotten from wedding guests and others just seeing the pictures. Also you did a wonderful job as our wedding consultant before, during and after. Your organized, competent, CALM, and professional handling of everything made it the wonderful relaxed event that it turned out to be. Can't thank you enough for all your work. Please know that we would be happy to serve as a reference for both flowers and coordination if you should ever need one or want to refer to Rachelle and Zac's wedding in any of your promotional materials."
